Arco Idaho Trip Highlights
On the weekend of July 19-21, 2002 Brad had the opportunity to
visit
Arco, Idaho-- the town where he lived for the first twelve years of
his life. The occasion was the 20-Year High School Reunion for
those who attended Butte High School. Even though Brad didn't
graduate with these folks (in 7th Grade his family moved to Meridian
Idaho), he was a part of their celebration because they were all
like family.

The Arco Idaho valley

The Baptist Community Church of Arco. Recently listed on the
National Registry of Historic Places. This is the church where
Brad placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal
Savior.

This is the house the Lloyd family spent most of their Arco years. The bookcases you
see were built by Llyn Lloyd. Brad appreciated the current owners (John & Marny) letting
him tour their home to reminisce.

Here is Brad holding a copy of a picture
that was taken on the same porch in
1971. The picture was published in a
book called: "Height
of Fashion."

These pictures prove the power of enduring friendships. The shot on the
right is of Lloyd, Suzanne
and Norma Daugherty. The photo on the left shows three generations of Arco
Idahoans: Verne Duncan
(former Arco Teacher and Superintendent; formerly an Oregon
State Senator), Lloyd Daugherty (was one of Verne's students, then one of Brad's teachers), and Brad Lloyd.

This is the new homestead of Gary and Elaine Stav (pictured at right).
They have been our very close
family friends for more than 40 years! We are thankful for them and are
excited about their new home.
